1. Who is responsible?

Little Baby Moments is provided by Daniel Kies, responsible for the data practices described in this policy.

2. What the app processes

You can use the app without creating an account. The following information is stored in the app’s local storage on your device to provide the features you use:

• Audio: recordings you start, their dates, duration, waveform information, titles, favourites and trimming choices. Recordings may also contain surrounding sounds or voices.
• Photos and notes: an image you choose, such as an ultrasound or bump photo, and notes you attach to a moment. A copy of the selected image is stored with the moment; image files may contain metadata from their source.
• Pregnancy information: an optional due date or pregnancy week and day input, used to calculate your pregnancy progress and label saved moments. Ultrasound images and pregnancy information can reveal sensitive health information.
• Preferences: language and playback amplification settings. Your device language may be read to select the app language.

Audio filtering and playback preparation take place on your device. Temporary processed audio files may be kept in the app’s cache. Relaxation audio is bundled with the app and does not require streaming.

The current app has no advertising, advertising identifiers, analytics SDKs, developer-operated cloud storage or account system. We do not sell your data or use your recordings, images or notes to train AI models.

3. Permissions and your choices

• Microphone: used to record audio after you grant permission and start a recording. The app is not configured for background recording.
• Selected images: the Android system file picker lets you choose the image to attach. The app does not scan your entire photo library and does not require the camera for this feature.
• Background playback: allows relaxation audio to continue when the screen is locked and displays media controls. This does not enable background microphone recording.

You can revoke microphone permission in Android Settings. Features that need this permission will then be unavailable. Pregnancy details, images and notes are optional; enter only information you want to keep, and obtain permission before recording or adding someone else’s personal information.

4. When information leaves your device

When you share: choosing Share passes a prepared audio file to the app or service you select through Android’s sharing interface. The share request may include the recording title, an app message and a Play Store link. That service handles the shared content under its own privacy policy. Sharing audio does not automatically attach your saved ultrasound image, note or pregnancy profile.

When you open a link: music credits and licence links open external websites. Those websites can receive normal connection information, such as your IP address, and apply their own privacy policies.

When you contact us: we receive your email address and anything you include in your message, through our email provider. Please avoid sending recordings, ultrasound images or other sensitive information unless needed for your request. Correspondence is used to answer your enquiry and handle related support or privacy requests.

Google Play, Android and any cloud file provider you choose may process information independently under their own policies. This app does not operate its own cloud synchronisation or backup service. Android automatic app backup is disabled in the app configuration; device-manufacturer transfer tools and copies you export may follow different rules.

5. Storage, retention and deletion

Your saved moments and preferences remain on your device until you remove them or clear the app’s storage. Deleting a moment removes its original recording, associated metadata and attached photo from the app’s saved collection. You can also remove or replace an attached photo and edit your notes.

To remove all local app data, including pregnancy settings and temporary files, use Android Settings → Apps → Little Baby Moments → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app. Menu names vary by device. This action cannot be undone by us because we do not hold a server copy.

Deleting data in the app does not delete your original image from your gallery or copies already shared, exported or retained by another service. Delete those copies separately where appropriate.

Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve the enquiry and meet any applicable legal retention obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. You can contact us to request its deletion.

6. Protecting your information

The app uses its application storage and the access controls provided by Android. It does not add its own password-protected vault or separate file encryption. Protect your device with a screen lock and keep its operating system updated. Anyone who can access your unlocked device may be able to view your moments.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Most app information is under your direct control on your device; we cannot remotely access, retrieve or delete it. For information you send to us directly, or for help exercising your rights, contact kies.daniel@gmail.com.

Where European data protection law applies, handling support enquiries relies on taking steps at your request or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries; records required by law are retained on that legal basis. The app’s optional local features process the information you choose to provide for those features.

8. Children and intended use

The app is intended for expectant parents and adults keeping personal memories. It is not directed at children and does not offer child accounts. Images or information about a baby that you add remain subject to the same local storage and sharing choices described above.

9. This privacy webpage

This page itself contains no analytics, advertising, tracking scripts, cookies, external fonts or embedded third-party content. Loading it nevertheless sends ordinary connection information, including your IP address, requested page, browser information and request time, to the website’s hosting server. The hosting service may process this information to deliver the page and maintain security. Contact us for details about the hosting arrangements and any server log retention.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when app features or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
