Privacy, with care.

1. Scope and responsibility

This privacy policy applies to all apps developed and provided by Daniel Kies, including Little Baby Moments (also known as Kleine Baby Momente). It covers our apps regardless of their name or the platform on which you use them. Feature-specific descriptions below apply only when the app offers that feature.

Daniel Kies is responsible for the data practices described in this policy.

2. On-device data and storage

Our apps do not have user accounts. The information you enter, create or import is stored and processed locally on your device to provide the features you use. Depending on the app, this may include:

• Your content: notes, entries, records, recordings, selected photos and other files you choose to add, together with related titles, dates and other metadata. Imported files may contain metadata from their source.
• Personal information: details you choose to enter, such as pregnancy information, nutrition records, measurements or other health-related entries, where the app supports them. Such information may be sensitive.
• Preferences: app settings such as language, display and playback options. Your device language may be used to select the app language.
• Local working files: temporary files, caches and downloaded content needed for the features you use.

We do not receive or store your personal app content on our servers. Our apps do not provide cloud storage, cloud synchronisation or a developer-operated remote backup of that content. We do not sell your personal app content or use it to train AI models.

For example, Little Baby Moments stores recordings, selected photos, notes and optional pregnancy details locally. Audio filtering and playback preparation also take place on your device.

2a. Outfit Director: face processing on your device

Face processing on your device

Outfit Director processes images containing faces entirely on your device to help frame your shots and retouch photos. Live framing uses face positions and detection confidence together with body and hand positions. Retouching uses facial landmarks and temporary skin masks for skin smoothing, complexion adjustments and optional teeth whitening. Skin smoothing and complexion adjustments can also be applied automatically after capture, while preserving the original photo. We do not use this processing to identify you or create face recognition templates or biometric identity profiles. We do not use face data for advertising, tracking or model training.

Face data storage, retention and deletion

Derived face positions, facial landmarks and skin masks are used temporarily in device memory for analysis or rendering. They are not persistently stored as face-data records. Photos and videos, including originals, edited copies and thumbnails that may contain faces, are saved in the app's local storage together with editing settings. Saved media has no automatic expiry. You can remove it by deleting a shoot, clearing all shoots in Settings, or deleting the app. If a file cannot be deleted immediately, the app retries shoot deletion on a subsequent launch. Temporary media previews and exports may remain in the device's temporary or cache storage until app cleanup, operating-system cleanup or app deletion; there is no fixed guaranteed retention period for these temporary media files. Device backups may include saved app media according to your device and backup settings.

Face data disclosure and sharing

We do not receive, upload, sell or share your face analysis data with third parties. Apple Vision and a bundled MediaPipe model perform processing on your device; images and face analysis results are not sent to Apple or Google for that processing. You may choose to save media to Photos or share it using the system share sheet. These exports contain the selected media, not separate facial landmark or skin-mask records. Exported copies, cloud photo synchronization and device backups are governed by your settings and the destination provider. Deleting media in Outfit Director does not delete those external copies or backups.

3. Permissions and your choices

Permissions depend on the features of the individual app. Where required, your device asks you to grant access before a feature can use a protected resource, such as the microphone or selected photos. You can review or revoke permissions in your device settings; features that depend on a revoked permission may no longer work.

Only enter or import information you want to keep in the app, and obtain permission before recording or adding someone else’s personal information.

In Little Baby Moments, microphone access is used for recordings you start; the app is not configured for background recording. Images are chosen using the system file picker. Background relaxation playback and media controls do not enable background microphone recording.

4. Connections, sharing and contact

Optional downloads: where an app offers downloadable content, it connects to the content server to retrieve the catalogue or files. For example, Little Baby Moments retrieves a music catalogue from iweb.lu when you open its relaxation or licence page or request a refresh, and downloads audio when you choose Download. Downloaded audio is stored locally for offline playback. These requests do not upload your personal recordings, photos, notes or other app entries.

The content server receives ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, the requested path, request time and connection headers. Hosting infrastructure may retain access logs to deliver and secure the service. Contact us for details about hosting and log retention. Downloads can use mobile data.

Sharing and exports: if an app offers sharing or export and you choose to use it, the selected content is passed to the destination you choose. Another app, file provider or service may then process or store it, including in its own cloud, under its own privacy policy. In Little Baby Moments, sharing a recording passes a prepared audio file and may include its title, an app message and a store link; it does not automatically attach your saved photo, note or pregnancy profile.

External links: opening a website, such as a music credit or licence link, allows that website to receive normal connection information and apply its own privacy policy.

Support: when you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include through our email provider. We use this information to respond and handle related support or privacy requests. Please avoid sending sensitive app content unless needed for your enquiry.

Platform services: app stores, operating systems and device-manufacturer services may process information independently under their own policies. Device backups, migration tools and files you export are controlled by the relevant platform and your settings. Little Baby Moments disables Android automatic app backup in its configuration.

5. Retention and deletion

Local app content and settings remain on your device until you remove them, clear the app’s data or uninstall the app. Where available, use the app’s controls to edit or delete individual entries or remove downloaded content. Temporary files may also be cleared by the app or operating system.

To remove all local app data, use your device’s app-storage controls or delete the app and its data. On Android, this is generally Settings → Apps → select the app → Storage → Clear data. Menu names and uninstall behaviour vary by platform. Offloading or archiving an app may preserve its data. We cannot restore deleted local content because we do not hold a server copy.

Deleting local app data does not remove source files in your photo library or copies you have exported, shared or included in a device backup. Manage those copies separately with the relevant app, service or device settings.

Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve your enquiry, meet applicable legal retention obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. You can contact us to request its deletion.

6. Protecting your information

Our apps use local application storage and the protections provided by your operating system. Protect your device with a screen lock and keep its operating system updated. Anyone with access to your unlocked device may be able to view your app content.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Your local app content is under your direct control; we cannot remotely access, retrieve or delete it. For information you send to us directly, or for help exercising your rights, contact kies.daniel@gmail.com.

Where European data protection law applies, handling support enquiries relies on taking steps at your request or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Processing connection information to deliver and secure our website or downloadable content relies on our legitimate interest in operating those services. Records required by law are retained on that legal basis.

8. Information about other people

The same local-storage principles apply to information you choose to enter about family members, children or other people. Only add information you are entitled to use. Intended users and age suitability depend on the individual app and its store listing; this policy does not change those requirements.

9. This privacy webpage

This page itself contains no analytics, advertising, tracking scripts, cookies, external fonts or embedded third-party content. Loading it nevertheless sends ordinary connection information, including your IP address, requested page, browser information and request time, to the website’s hosting server. The hosting service may process this information to deliver the page and maintain security. Contact us for details about the hosting arrangements and any server log retention.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when app features or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
